Rizwan Adatia is the Founder of Rizwan Adatia Foundation (RAF), a not for profit, that focusses at reducing disparities in education, healthcare and economic development within the communities of both continents -- Asia and Africa. He is the Chairman of COGEF group which spans across 11 countries, employees 3500 -- is a symbol of hard work and resilience. In the year 2016 he also established Rizwan Adatia Foundation for Social and Cultural Development. Besides offering support through the foundation, Rizwan personally works closely with youth. Rizwan as a motivational speaker conducts workshops for positive change, that help young people in achieving their goals.

He directly oversees operations of Vision Exports FZC in UAE & China, established to procure, finance, and expand the core values throughout the family’s corporate structure.
Gregory C. Carr, is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of Gregory C. Carr Foundation, established to restore famous Gorongosa Nation Park in Mozambique.
Hanif Vertejee born in Pakistan, he has wide development experience with Aga Khan Foundation in Asia & Africa. He has closely worked with national and international agencies including EC, USAID, CIDA, IPAD etc.
Salma Adatia is wife of Mr. Rizwan Adatia and motivating force behind all the development initiatives. She is very close the communities and strongly believes in sharing and caring.
Riaz Merchant is guiding Rizwan Adatia Foundation as a Chief Operating Officer. Riaz is an Engineering graduate with post graduate degree in Business Administration. He brings extensive 30 years of experience to the knowledge pool of RAF. He has worked in various multinational organizations at different Managerial and subsequently progressed to Executive positions. Currently, he is based in Mozambique, where he is living from last 20 years and had been in DR Congo prior to that for 5 years.
Sushil Ahire leads the operation of Asia in the capacity of Country Manager for India. Before India, he also led the interventions of RAF in Congo. He has 18 enriching years of experience in the field of social development in Asia and Africa. Prior to RAF, he worked with various national and international organizations such as CARE India, Pathfinder International and Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission. He is very instrumental in managing team, overseeing programmes, partnering with NGO’s and community-based organizations.
Sasmita Sahani works as an M & E Specialist as well as providing programmatic insights to create programme strategy, design, and ensuring quality of overall organisational efforts. For more than 12 years, Sasmita has been associated with the social sector, extensively working in Research and M&E on the issues like health and gender. She has completed Master’s in Anthropology, Diploma Course in Adolescent Health in Low and Middle-Income Countries from Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and currently pursuing Executive Programme in Leadership & Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
Pratik Narsidani oversees the entire Finance, HR and Admin functions at Rizwan Adatia Foundation, India. With nearly 10 years of managerial experience from National & International Non-Profit Organisations in India, Pratik adds value to strengthen RAF in Finance & Accounts, HR & Administration, Budgeting & Financial Reporting, Auditing & Taxation, FCRA filing & Reporting, Developing SOPs, Grants, Donation & Payroll Management. Prior to RAF, he worked with Americares India Foundation and Focus Humanitarian Assistance India (An Agency affiliate to Aga Khan Development Network).
Dhavan Nagar is specialized in Rural Development from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai having experience of more than five years on Panchayati Raj, Livelihood, Water governance, Village Institutions and Natural Resource Management. He had been actively involved in national level green audit and social audit of MGNREGA and expertise on Village Development Plan and Gram Panchayat Development Plan. He has wide exposure of environment and development issues with problem analytical skills with special focus on Panchayati Raj Institutions. He is skilled in use of participatory approaches and techniques. Currently, he is leading RAF's interventions in Gujarat State.
Piyush Zala oversees the operation of adopted Maliya-Hatina village in Gujarat. He has completed a degree of MRS and B.Ed from Saurashtra University. He has worked in the integrated watershed development unit, Junagadh district of Gujarat state as an agriculture expert in a multi-disciplinary team for 5 years.
Hemal Tanna oversees the operation of social and cultural development under RAFSCD. He has completed MSW and worked extensively in rural Gujarat on diversified social developmental activities especially in the field of Health and livelihood. Then he was associated with more than 10 micro level NGOs as well as with governance system. His core skills are effective implementation and catering to community-based activities.
Richard Musarara oversees the operations of RAF at Mozambique. He has completed Masters in Public Policy and Governance from Africa University, Bsc Honors in Local Governance studies with Midlands State University along with other professional studies in Project Management, Gender studies, Human rights , Results Based Management and Monitoring and Evaluation ,with more than eighty years of experience in NGO work both local and globally.
