For women through SHG’s

SHG members eliminate dependence on money lenders to meet their short-term financial needs/ exigencies, while in a longer term the members build capital and community assets. Creating and nurturing SHGs will be the mainstay of RAFs intervention along with promoting and fostering women leadership and entrepreneurship for sustained livelihood. Along with access to microcredit the SHG-Bank linkage programmes will provide necessary impetus in women’s empowerment and socio-economic development and self-reliance among women.

Community financing, ensure an inclusive development, achieved through community participation. Aiding community finance initiatives assist and complement state’s efforts in overcoming the institutional and administrative barriers to the effective use of poverty reduction program funding, so that a larger share of funds reaches the poorest communities, and communities themselves play a greater role in determining the poverty reduction measures and forms of assistance that they adopt.
