Buildings, classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and equipment- education infrastructure – are crucial elements of learning environments in schools and universities. There is strong evidence that high-quality infrastructure facilitates better instruction, improves student outcomes, and reduces dropout rates, among other benefits.

Access to library

RAF will partner with publishers, teachers, and students and with NGO’s specializing in setting up libraries to strengthen existing education systems in the countries of our operations.

Exposure to Information technology

RAF will invest in providing broadband access and in ICT policies for schools to ensure optimal use and maintenance of the infrastructure. The need for ICT devises and products to enable internet learning will be addressed by RAF. Considering the massive scale of the project, loans, grants and blended investment models will be identified to boost scale up of internet infrastructure.

Pedagogy development and teacher training

To drastically improve impact, innovative pedagogy learning measures will be identified and implemented by building public-private partnerships in improving teaching practices and imparting value-based education in public schools.

Improving school sanitation

RAF grasps the irreplaceable value of schools as a community asset. The Foundation will assist in reconstructing school sanitation blocks and utilise school facilities to promote personal hygiene practices.

Improving infrastructural facilities

Spaces for teachers and students, thoughtful creation of safe spaces for women and girls with adequate temperature, ventilation, and lighting improve teacher and student engagement and the quality of delivered education. Defined spaces for practicing science and arts like laboratories and theatre improve learning and retention.

Promoting school sports

Sports can be utilized to raise awareness about sustainability through designing sustainable educational curriculums. RAF will build strong partnerships with civil society and educational institutions to optimize the benefits of promoting sports to everyday education.
